Chapter 01
The fence you choose when you still want to see through it.
A chain link fence marks a property line without hiding what is on either side of it. That matters at a pool enclosure where you still want to see the water, along a shared boundary where a solid wall would just start an argument with the neighbor, or around a yard where the dog needs to be kept in without the sun being kept out.
It is also the fence most people reach for when the priority is a secure boundary rather than privacy. The posts go in at a steady interval the same as any fence we install, the difference is what fills the gaps between them, open mesh instead of a solid panel.

Galvanized or black changes everything about how it reads.
Traditional galvanized chain link is the practical, unmistakable version most people picture, a zinc coating that resists rust and asks almost nothing of the owner afterward. It is the right call for a commercial yard, a utility run, or anywhere the fence is doing a job rather than making a statement.
Black chain link is the same system in a coating that reads differently. It sits back against planting and shadow instead of catching the eye, which is why it shows up more on residential pool surrounds and back gardens where owners want the practicality without the industrial look.
Chapter 03

Residential jobs are usually about keeping something in or someone out along a boundary that already has a shape, a yard, a side return, a pool. Height and gate placement follow what the property actually needs, not a standard size.
Commercial and industrial sites ask more of the same system: taller runs, wider gate openings for vehicles, and post spacing rated for the load. It is still chain link, fabricated and installed under the same roof as every other fence we build, just sized for the site rather than the yard.

One customer, David Anderson, had Crown Fence install a six foot chain link fence and left an account of exactly how the crew worked: they put concrete in every pole, added four feet on one side to keep the run straight against the original estimate, and worked carefully around the water and power lines near the site before cleaning up after the job was finished.
